I love my new Espiritu Huarache sandals. They are very comfortable, easy to wear, and I receive a lot of compliments on them. They do take a moment to break in, but once they fit they fit good. I needed to size up after receiving my first pair; The exchange process was easy and accommodating.

I stumbled across Espiritu's stall at a local flea market and bought these on whim -- I wasn't necessarily in the market for new shoes but once I tried them on I knew I had to have them. They are incredibly comfortable and I can tell they were made with care and using quality materials that will only get more beautiful with age and wear.

Amazing! Like wearing leather socks

I purchased a pair of these at Artists & Fleas in LA. I was a little skeptical at first since the fit felt VERY tight and uncomfortable. But after a few wears these Huaraches were AMAZING. I wore them everywhere I could, and they eventually felt like leather socks. They are literally the most comfortable leather product I have ever worn on my feet. They lasted about 2 years through frequent and rough wear and tear, and I just ordered another pair.

I wore these with jeans, with shorts, and even wore them out in the summer with slacks and a blazer. For whatever reason, I get more compliments on these shoes than I do on my wingtips, monkstraps, or other cool/expensive shoes I own. People always want to know where I got them, and I send them right to the Espiritu website.

I recommend going true to size - understand they 100% WILL FEEL TIGHT at the start. Also know they 100% will loosen up and become irreplaceable. I could not give a higher recommendation, not to mention the cool people who make the shoes and run the company.

Ordered after seeing an article in the L.A. Times. Received my pair yesterday. I’m usually a 6/12 to 7, but following the guidelines on sizing ordered a 6. Opened up the box, thought “ohhhhh, these look nice”, thought maybe I would have to wear them around the house to stretch. They fit perfectly and are so comfortable! The craftsmanship is beautiful. If you’re on the fence, get ‘em. You won’t be disappointed.

TAMAÑO Y AJUSTE

Para el tamaño del huarache usamos números enteros, por lo que recomendamos redondear hacia abajo (es decir, si tiene un 9.5, obtenga un 9).

Nuestro cuero y nuestros diseños están hechos para estirarse y moldearse alrededor de sus pies, para abrazarlos perfectamente para un ajuste perfecto.

Amazing shoes, horrible customer service

These are my fourth pair of huaraches from Espiritu- I’m a fan! I recommend sizing up in the slides (if in between sizes) and sizing down a whole size in the regular style (I’m a 7.5 and order a 6, you’ll get blisters once and then have the most comfortable shoes EVER). I also DO NOT RECOMMEND buying direct from Espiritu. Their customer service is horrible (nonresponsive, evasive, gives incorrect information, takes weeks to months to reply), and they’ll sell items that are on preorder without being transparent that the item isn’t in stock (meaning you get your order months later, if at all). This has been my experience on two separate occasions, and friends who have fallen in love with the shoes have had the same experiences. At different times. Great shoe- horrible customer service.

Super cute and sturdy. I thought I had made a huge mistake when these first came because they were so tight, but they stretch quickly and hug my feet.
